Build festival audience loyalty through a multichannel data collection strategy

A Music Festival for Everyone
Chorus Festival is a vibrant music event created in 1988 and organized annually by the Department of Hauts-de-Seine. Since 2017, it has taken place at La Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt. With a lineup focused on urban music, rap, pop/rock, and electronic sounds, the festival offers an eclectic program for all generations. It even features a dedicated children’s festival with age-appropriate concerts and entertainment.
Key challenges
To strengthen audience loyalty and engagement, the Chorus Festival and the Department of Hauts-de-Seine turned to GuestViews to implement a dynamic, multi-channel data collection strategy. Their goals included:
- Rolling out a multichannel feedback strategy to gather insights and enhance audience acquisition
- Building long-term loyalty by encouraging attendees to return for future events at La Seine Musicale
- Actively involving audiences in shaping the venue’s programming and sustainability initiatives
Since 2018, GuestViews has been working alongside the Chorus Festival and the Hauts-de-Seine teams to deepen their understanding of audience expectations and reinforce visitor relationships year after year.
What we've done
- Multichannel data collection: physical feedback kiosks on-site, QR codes for mobile participation, and post-event cold email campaigns.
- Tailored survey app: designed to capture festival-goers’ profiles, collect open feedback, and identify areas for improvement (e.g. programming, eco-responsibility).
- Engaging competition: used to drive participation and spotlight the festival’s partner event, Nanterious Break.
- Collection of highly-qualified contacts to create a post-event email marketing strategy: personalized campaigns sent to qualified contacts, promoting upcoming events and encouraging continued engagement.
