Survey your database to identify brand ambassadors
Discover how the Grimaldi Forum Monaco strengthened visitor insights with #CULTURE2021.

A multidisciplinary cultural hub in the heart of Monaco
The Grimaldi Forum Monaco is both a cultural center and a convention venue, hosting a wide range of events — exhibitions, conferences, performances, concerts, festivals, seminars, and more. Since opening its doors in 2000, the venue welcomes around 250,000 visitors per year and produces over 100 events annually.
Key challenges
In 2021, the Grimaldi Forum partnered with GuestViews to run a large-scale visitor insight initiative. The goal was to better understand audience behavior and expectations while strengthening the center’s cultural strategy.
The team’s objectives were clear:
- Deepen knowledge of their audiences to validate trends and inform future programming
- Maximize feedback collection through three distinct channels, without overwhelming their database
- Identify potential brand ambassadors who could support future communication campaigns
What we've done
- A multi-channel survey campaign:
- Email marketing: Distributed via newsletter with follow-ups sent at key times
- Social media outreach: Promoted to their engaged community
- Website integration: Direct access to the survey for organic visitors - A custom-built application: Questions adapted to participant profiles and cultural habits post-lockdown. Dynamic logic for tailored question paths based on user responses.
- A gamified approach: Contest entry offered as an incentive, with winners receiving free tickets to the next major exhibition.
- Interactive modules: Participants were invited to vote for their favorite exhibition themes, directly feeding into future programming discussions.
