A vibrant destination rooted in culture and nature

Béziers Méditerranée is the community tourism office serving the Béziers region since 2013. Nestled between vineyards, the Mediterranean Sea and the Canal du Midi—France’s 4th most visited département—the office promotes and develops tourism throughout the area. With its network of visitor centers and local heritage sites, it showcases the region’s cultural gems to ensure memorable experiences for all travelers.

The challenge: understand visitors to improve services

To refine their tourism strategy and deliver consistently high-quality experiences, the Béziers Méditerranée team turned to GuestViews to deepen their understanding of their audience. Their goals:

  • Monitor visitor satisfaction in real time and quickly identify weak signals
  • Personalize the feedback experience using local icons and offer rewards to increase engagement
  • Adapt feedback topics to seasonal activities and collect insights across various touchpoints

A partnership launched in 2023

Since early 2023, we’ve rolled out 11 interactive feedback interfaces across the Béziers Méditerranée region. Each one designed to give a voice to both residents and visitors, while strengthening the connection to the local territory.

What we've done

  • Permanent feedback stations: Visitor engagement apps installed on touchscreen kiosks in tourist offices and local heritage sites across the region.

  • Gamified experiences: Instant-win contests offering local gifts and experiences to boost participation.

  • Targeted surveys: Seasonal studies for both potential visitors and passengers at Béziers Cap d’Agde Airport to understand travel habits and inform regional planning.

  • Event-driven research: Real-time studies during major cultural events like summer festivals, the Christmas market, Férias, and trade expos—to better tailor future offerings.
